I feel the spirit of puasa may be fading... I got in a taxi this morning and the driver was just finishing his brekkie... "Sorry!" he said "Im not doing puasa today..." then a second taxi later in the afternoon, the guy was having a snack... "Sorry! Not doing puasa today," with a laugh... Less than a week to go, I guess people are getting sick of it. Personally Im not really doing it anymore. I went down to doing it every second day, my body isnt really strong enough, and it sort of interferred with my yoga schedule... and now... theres too much good food ;) Nah, it was making me run down, too much of a risk, I cant get sick.I went to the bank as well, Im racking up some everyday experience... doctor, bank, flight office... it was hard lol. I had to deposit a deposit for my weekend in Ubud into an account with BCA so I went to the branch... and stood there for about ten minutes at the little counter where you fill in your forms, with my dictionary, trying to figure out what i was doing (about half of that was spent figuring out I was filling out the wrong form) butI got there. The woman was really nice at the counter, spoke nice and slow and was very friendly. Check: bank transaction. Makes you think about how much useful vocab I dont know/ dont remember.
