Bonjour

The other night Jess and I were having dinner when a couple of foreigners sat down and asked us to explain the menu... it was strange tho cos they werent white foreigners, they were black! Not being racist, it was just bizarre! We got chatting, they knew a little english, and it turned out they were from... Madagascar!! Lol... and they didnt know any indonesian beyond hello and thankyou... and theyre living here for three years! So random lol... but they also speak french and I keep running into one of them at uni so Ive been struggling to put together a few sentences in french. This third language thing is really hard! Its one thing going to different classes and lectures in different languages but its another to try and remember one when youre completely immersed in another language... lol... good sign tho, Im starting to think in Indonesian... hm
